Journalist and Museologist/Curator
Dimitris Trikas, born in Athens, is a journalist and museologist/curator. He holds a degree in Law from the Law School of the University of Athens and a degree in Directing from the School of Cinema “Lykourgos Stavrakos”. His postgraduate studies led to a Master’s degree in Museum Studies from the University of Athens and a Master’s degree in Public History from the Hellenic Open University (EAΠ). Since March 2021, he is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Theater Studies at NTUA.
He has worked at ERT S.A., in television and radio, since 1994 (Third Program). Since October 2021, he has an art critique column in the newspaper “Epochi” and in the “Readings” of newspaper “Avgi of Sunday”. He has also collaborated with the radio stations “Diaulos 10” (1987-90) and “Athina 9.84” (1990-1994), as well as the newspaper “Imerisia” (1999-2007).
Among other works, he directed the documentaries “Theodoros Terzopoulos: A Eulogy for Theater”, 83′, which participated in the 14th International Documentary Festival of Thessaloniki, and “Apostolia Papadama: An Electric Girl”, 30′, ERT-Cine+, and the telefilm “Searching for Mr. Alexandros”, 60′, ERT2.
