Professor at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA)
Kostas Theologou was born in Thessaloniki in October 1960 and graduated from the Experimental School of the University of Thessaloniki. He studied Law and Political Science at the University of Athens. He pursued postgraduate studies at the University of Sorbonne (Paris-I, Pantheon Sorbonne) in Social History and Social Theory under the guidance of Jean-Marie Vincent, main supporter and advocate of the School of Frankfurt in France.
His doctoral diploma from the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Law of the School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences of National Technical University of Athens (2006) focuses on social identities and the Sociology of Culture in multicultural urban environments.
He teaches in undergraduate and postgraduate programs at NTUA and other universities. He has taught in private tertiary education and secondary public education.
