Vassilis Vassilopoulos

Dr. Vassilis Vassilopoulos is a Data Protection Officer for Greek public broadcasting services (ERT, AMNA).
As an academic, he specializes in ethical media governance (AUTH, 2021), holds a Master’s degree in qualitative journalism and new technologies (DUK Austria, 2015), and has worked in journalism for over 30 years in roles such as editor-in-chief, reporter, and political analyst. He is an affiliate researcher at the University of Vienna’s media governance laboratory (Univie 2023), and served as director of ERT’s digital media.
