Alexandros Goules

Coordinator of the Digital Transformation & Management Information Systems Committee

Computer engineer, teaches in the program “Digital judicial systems and Technoethics” of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Alexandros Goules (born July 18, 1975) is an accomplished professional with a strong background in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). He graduated from the University of West Attika, specializing in Databases, and holds an M.Sc. in “Management of Business, Innovation, and Technology” from Athens Information Technology (AIT).

Throughout his career, Alexandros has made significant contributions to the private sector. He began as a software developer at Unixfor S.A. and Intrasoft S.A., later transitioning into roles as an ERP-Specialist and Project Manager at Robert Bosch S.A., and as a Project & Product Manager at Intracom IT Services. Additionally, he worked at Diedros S.A. as a Consultant, Pre-Sales, and Project Manager, primarily focusing on projects related to the Public Sector.

From March 2017 to February 2020, Alexandros joined CLC (Austria) as an ICT Overall Project & Program Manager for the Technical Assistance on the Reform of the Greek Judicial System – Phase II & Phase III (SRSS/S2016/030), under the Structural Reform Support Service of the Council of Europe, within the Greek Ministry of Justice, Transparency & Human Rights.

Since September 2020, he has been contracted with CILC (the Netherlands) as the ICT Program Manager for the TSI (DGReform of the Council of Europe), working on “Enhancing the reform of the court system in Greece and the efficiency of justice” (REFORM/GA2020/018).

Furthermore, Alexandros has served as a senior Consultant contracted by MECI Strategy Consultants, focusing on operational development programs (PA, RRF) and spearheading the Digital Transformation of Local Government Organizations, collaborating with entities such as the Ministry of Digital Governance and Municipalities.

Alexandros has also worked as an external Senior Consultant with KPMG Greece, contributing to Digital Projects in the Public Sector. Since March 2023, he has assumed the role of Senior Sales Executive for the Public Sector at PYLONES Hellas, specializing in offering Cybersecurity Solutions.

With expertise in eJustice, Alexandros has previously served as an Academic Coach for the “eJustice, Legal Tech & AI” Program at the Lifelong Learning Center of Panteion University of Greece. Currently, he holds the position of Academic Instructor for the “Digital Justice Systems and Technoethics” Program at the Lifelong Learning Center of the University of Athens (NKUA).

Outside of his professional engagements, Alexandros actively contributed to various organizations. From November 2016 to 2019, he served as a Member of the Board of the Olympic Athletic Centre of Athens (OAKA), and from 2014 to 2019, he was a member of the Committee for Tourism Development & Promotion of the City of Athens, within the Municipality of Athens.
