STAVROS VOURLOUMIS - MEMBER

Stavros Vourloumis is an economist and has received a Ph.D. in Business Administration by the Department of Business Administration of the Athens University of Economics and Business. His prior studies include a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Business Administration by the Department of Business Administration of the Athens University of Economics and Business and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Economics by the Department of Economics of the same University, as well as a Master in Research degree in European Studies by the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Research-wise, he is interested in topics related to business strategies, strategic decision-making, and conflict and negotiations with firms and organizations, as well as in understanding how the human factor and the structural features of firms and organizations interact with structural socio-economic changes, such as digitalization and the climate transition. He is teaching courses on Management, Business Strategy and Negotiations at the Athens University of Economics and Business, the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, and the International Hellenic University. He has served as Special Advisor in the Ministries of Environment & Energy, Employment & Social Affairs, and Economy & Finance, while he currently is a member of the National Skills Council. He has also participated in numerous research and consultancy projects, both in Greece and abroad, and as a trainee in the European Commission.
