Dimitris Melidis is a Lawyer, a graduate of School of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, holder of a MSc. in Services Management of the School of Business Administration of the Athens University of Economics and Business and PhD candidate (School of Law, NKUA). He has served as Legal Advisor to 3 Ministers of Justice, Legal Advisor of the ACEin AUEB Entrepreneurship Center of the Athens University of Economics and Business, Vice President of the Board of Directors the Athens Olympic Stadium (OAKA), eJustice lecturer at Panteion University (eJustice Panteion), Coordinator of National Actions and Mediation Lecturer of Mediators Education Centre at Panteion University.
He has been a member of 17 Legislative Committees of the Greek Government as well as a founding member of the Central Mediation Committee of the Ministry of Justice. Today he teaches in the Judicial Digital Systems, Artificial Intelligence and Technoethics Program at the University of Athens, he is the Academic Officer of eJustice in the same Program, he is Dep. Secretary of the Institutions Sector (Constitution, Transparency, Political System) of PASOK-Kinima Allagis, collaborates with “E&Y Legal”.
